Submission Guidelines

Acknowledgment:

The Microsoft CMT service was used for managing the peer-reviewing process for this conference. This service was provided for free by Microsoft and they bore all expenses, including costs for Azure cloud services as well as for software development and support.

Initial Submission Guidelines:

  • Attach the Author Profile together with the extended abstract. All authors must be listed at the time of submission. No additions are allowed after the initial submission.
  • Do not include the names and affiliations of authors in the extended abstract.
  • Submit the extended abstract as a Microsoft Word (docx) file.

Formatting Guidelines:

  • Page Limitations: Extended abstracts should be a minimum of 4 pages and a maximum of 5 pages, including references.
  • Paper size: A4
  • Margins: Top, Bottom and Right: 2.5cm, Left: 3.0 cm.
  • Font and Spacing: Use Times New Roman, 11-point font, 1.15-line spacing unless otherwise specified in the template.
  • Follow the formatting guidelines outlined in the ‘Extended Abstract Template’.
  • Submissions that fail to meet formatting, language, or ethical standards will be desk rejected without review. Only manuscripts that comply with submission requirements will proceed to the double-blind peer review process.

The decision of the Editorial Committee regarding the suitability of extended abstracts for publication shall be final and binding.

Submission of Revised Extended Abstracts – ITUM IRC 2026

The reviewers’ comments are available through the CMT. Please ensure that all comments from each reviewer are carefully addressed before submitting the revised documents.

Please strictly follow the following guidelines:

  1. Author Response to Reviewers: Complete the attached Author Response to Reviewers’ Comments template. Each reviewer comment must be addressed individually with a clear, point-by-point response explaining how the comment has been addressed.
  2. Identification of Changes: For each reviewer comment, clearly indicate the specific change(s) made to the extended abstract and, where applicable, identify the relevant page, section, paragraph, figure, or table.
  3. Highlighting of Revisions: All changes made to the revised extended abstract in response to the reviewers’ comments must be clearly highlighted. The highlighted changes should correspond directly with the responses provided in the Author Response document.
  4. Comments Not Resulting in a Change: If the authors consider that a particular reviewer comment does not require a change to the extended abstract, a clear and academically justified explanation must be provided in the Author Response document.
  5. Submission through CMT: The following two documents must be submitted separately through the CMT system:
    • Revised Extended Abstract – with all revisions clearly highlighted. (Do not include author details on top or when titling the manuscript)
    • Completed Author Response to Reviewers’ Comments
    • Author Response Template
  6. The revised extended abstract should be limited to a maximum of pages including references.
Revision Deadline

The revised submission must be completed on or before 29th of August, 2026.

Authors are requested to strictly adhere to this deadline to facilitate the timely completion of the review process and preparation of the conference programme and proceedings.

Please note that an invitation to revise does not constitute acceptance of the extended abstract. The revised submission will be further assessed to determine whether the reviewers’ comments have been adequately addressed and whether the extended abstract meets the academic and technical requirements of ITUM IRC 2026.
